Review: Scholl Express Pedi

***Why I want the product***
I am a person who does neglect my feet, I do not do a lot with them apart from applying nail polish and the manicure when the warmer weather shows up. I have a hand held foot file and do not even use that so my feet are the most neglected part of my body even though they are the hardest working part of anyone’s body.

Very lucky for me with the summer *fingers crossed* approaching I was asked to take part in Scholl Express Pedi from BzzAgent, which I received for free for the purpose of this review. Now is the time I can start to look after my feet and I have no excess now.

***About the product***
Express Pedi was specifically developed and designed for the professional removal of hard skin on your feet at the comfort of your own home. The special electrical micro roller surface makes it easy for you to effectively remove hard, dead skin in a safe way without the use of sharp knives. This portal device is the ideal solution to take away with you or use at home.

***Packaging***
Scholl Express Pedi comes in a hard sealed plastic container that needs to be opened with scissors. The front of the packaging is eye catching, the device stands out away from the packaging giving it a 3D look and feel. With the bright yellow going down into deep blue’s it gives the background a summery/holiday feel.
The back is just as eye catching with the picture of the device, a little about the product and how to use.

Included is also 2 AA batteries, which is a plus for me as a pet hate is products that do not come all ready with batteries, which means more expense.
x1 roller, instruction manual and of course the Express Pedi.

***Applying the product, and how it feels***
Finally getting inside the packaging I am surprised to feel the device is quite light but more heavier with the batteries inserted but not so heavy that it is uncomfortable. The battery cover at the back just slides off and the batteries are easy inserted.

The device looks sleek, fresh and simple with shiny white plastic around the parameter of the device and baby blue in the middle with an egg shaped silver push up switch. The bottom writing in silver on the white background says Scholl Express Pedi.
The top sees a clear plastic safely cover with air holes at the top, pulling the safety clip off the blue roller is exposed. To the top right hand side there is a little push down switch that releases the roller; you then simply insert the roller into the desired place until it clicks back into place. Easy.

Getting my un-kept feet out and switching on the device, it is not as loud as I thought I would be, not as loud as a electric toothbrush for example but enough for an electrical device. The roller spins fast continuously until you switch it off again, the roller is a little like sand paper but a lot less rough on the skin but has the same feel and look.

Taking the roller to my foot I was almost expecting it to hurt due to how fast the roller moved and because it felt so rough, but in reality the Express Pedi actually feels soft on the skin, gently rolling the Express Pedi over the soul of my feet back and forth I can see within a matter of seconds white dust flying off from the device and that white dust is my dry skin and it actually felt like it was tickling my feet rather than doing the job it is meant to be doing. Express Pedi say to use this device on an area of skin for 2/3 seconds at a time, anymore and the device could cause sore skin.

After a few seconds on each part of the soul of my feet, removing the Express Pedi I am very surprised to see how much fine white power (dead skin) is actually on the device and on my foot. However, the proof is in my foot and feeling my foot compared to the other I am very amazed at how much more softer my foot actually is. Although I am not one of these people that suffer from a great amount of dry skin on my feet I am still amazed at how much dead skin has come off and how soft my foot feels. So much so that my foot actually looks brighter and younger compared to the other foot.

***Warning***
Do not use on very cracked or bloody skin. Keep out of reach of children. If the skin is sore or inflamed, discontinue use of the product. Store in a safe place. Make sure the device does not get wet. Don't use for longer than 20 minutes at a time. This product is Not Suitable for diabetics and those with poor blood circulation.

***Price and availability***
Scholl Express Pedi can be bought from superdrug.com, boots.com and other retail outlets for £39.99
The recommended replacement rollers retail for around £12.49 each.

***What I think about it/do I like it?***
I actually like it a lot and this product as quickly worked its way into my beauty routine that takes a matter of seconds to achieve great looking feet.  Now I do not worry about putting my feet on show without worrying what others might think. I now show my feet of proudly with lovely nail polish to go with it.

The only thing I do not like about Express Pedi is I feel the part where you put your foot to the roller I feel it is too small for the average foot to get around the corners and shape of the foot. Other than that a perfect for anyone this summer.

***Would I purchase again?***
If I had to purchase this myself, no I would not fork out nearly £40 for this device, although a great way to keep your feet in shape I just personally feel it is very expensive for what it is when you can get creams, lotions these days that go on the feet and then you rub away to reveal new skin underneath for half of the price of Express Pedi.

I will purchase replacement pads when I feel the time is needed but I will not be paying the recommended retail price of £12.49, I will most certainly be looking elsewhere that is cheaper.

New Campain: Right Guard Xtreme Invisible

I have to be honest and say I have never purchased any Right Guard's products before so this is a present surprise to see I have been chosen to take part in this campain for Right Guard's new Xtreme Invisible deodrant.

Right Guard say this anti-perspirant deodorants protect us from sweat and body odour, but how can we protect our clothes from the residue and stains that they leave behind? Right Guard’s latest Xtreme Invisible aerosol and roll-on anti-perspirant deodorants not only fight sweat and body odour at the source, but also keep your clothes clean from the three most common types of underarm stains — white, oily and yellow.
Xtreme Invisible’s ground-breaking new powder-free, emulsion-based Triple Stain Protection formula has raised the bar for high-performance underarm protection, providing up to 72 hour fresh-scented dryness without ruining your wardrobe.

I will see if it lives up to the claims :-)

Review of E45 Nourish and Restore + Original Formula

***Why I want the product***
The condition of my skin on my body dryness wise has never really been too bad. I would not class myself as having dry skin on m body but would properly rate it as normal. However, there are a few occasions when I like to apply a body lotion and that is on my knees and elbows, I also like to have extra moisturised skin in the summer as for me I feel healthier and more glowing.
However, I actually hate body lotions and creams as all I have tried in the past never fully sink into my skin and I am left with a greasy film, which I cannot stand and end up patting all the excess product off with a tissue which beats the objective for me so most of the time I do not bother with them and gave up.
Wanting a moisturising body lotion though for my legs when I shave is a must and always has been. As a recently new BzzAgent I was invited to try to the new E45 Nourish and Restore Body Lotion, which I had not tried before and was eager to give them ago. I wanted E45 to change my views and perceptions on how I use body lotions in particular, without the nasty greasy film that goes with it.

***About the product***
E45 say this body lotion has been enriched which natural oils and with vitamin B3 this makes Nourish and Restore a fantastic skincare product for mature skin.
Nourish and Restore helps to restore supple, softer and noticeably softer looking skin in just three weeks. It is also enriched with naturally derived lipid and glycerine that work with your skin to replenish lost hydration and then build and maintain it throughout the day.

E45 Nourish and Restore body lotion is light weight and quickly absorbed, non-greasy, hypoallergenic and lightly fragranced, making it perfect for normal to dry skin, and it is even a good sensitive skin moisturiser.

***Packaging***
I received 250ml opaque pearl looking sturdy plastic straight bottle with a burgundy colour flip top lid that really stands out well from the bottle itself. The front tells you what product it is with a lovely yet simple design of burgundy colours with a water drop in the middle.
The back of the bottle tells you about the product, directions and ingredients. All the usual that is interesting to know.

***Applying the product, and how it feels***
Squeezing some product out of the delicate small hole from the lid I actually squeezed more than I thought I needed, which resulted in me thinking it would take ages to rub in, never mind skink in. The consistency of this body lotion is actually lighter than I thought it would be. I associate E45 with thick creams for very dry skin so this is a very welcoming sight. Nourish and Restore also has a very light delicate fresh fragrance that is not overpowering at all.

Rubbing the lotion into my dry arm for example the lotion glides along my skin beautifully and with such ease, no effort is required at all. Within a matter of seconds of applying the lotion I find it has all ready sunk in, all ready I am one very pleased woman. With all body lotions if applying all over the body I would wait a minute or so just to let it sink in more before applying your clothes.

Even though my body skin is not excessively dry as someone else’s I can tell straight away even on use how well my skin is moisturised, in fact I would go as far as to saying I did not realise how much moisture my skin actually needs and likes. Just goes to show all body skin types needs moisture. The light fresh scent within this product smells so lovely and I can sometimes get a sniff of the scent when sniffing my arm for example but found this scent fades after an hour or so, it is still detectable but at a very just.

I have used E45 now everyday or every other day for a few weeks, especially when coming out of the shower and I love it. I love the fact even though it is a light lotion I do not actually have to use a lot of product to get the desired moisturised skin that I am after. Even when applying this product in the morning from the shower I can wake up in the next day to still beautifully moisturised skin, although this might not be the case for those with excessive dry skin.

***Price and availability***
You can purchase this product from all good superdrug.com, boots.com, asda.com etc for around £3.99 for 250ml or £4.59 for £5.49

***What I think about it/do I like it?***
I am pleased to say E45 have changed the way I apply body lotions, they have change that I do actually use one now, every day without the greasy feeling that I hate. The lotion has a lovely scent, quickly absorbed and perfect for every day.

***Would I purchase again?***
I defiantly would purchase again in the future, I think the recommended price ranges are reasonable, for the little amount you need it also economical. Moisturising properties is fantastic, a product I will not be without.

New Campaign: Scholl Express Pedi

A new product from Scholl called Express Pedi. It is said that good, healthy feel make women feel confident, yet 9 out of 10 don't consider their feet to be in good condition.Extending your beauty routine all the way to your toes with the Brand New Scholl Express Pedi.

The must-have product for a pedicure this season. It is a rotating electrical device quickly and gently buffs away hard skin, leaving your feet silky soft and ready for anything. This calls for a coat of your flashiest nail varnish! Grab those open-toed shoes you’ve been eyeing up all winter, too. It only takes a few minutes to ‘summer-fy’ your feet with the Express Pedi.

I hold my hands up and say I am not one of those woman who look after my feet all the time, they see sunlight when the sun comes out and that sometimes incluces nail polish, after all no one is going to see my feet so why 'show them off?' Express Pedi might actually change my mind, another product I cannot wait to try.

New Campaign: E45 Light Daily Lotion

As a BzzAgent I was luckly enough to have my first campaign with E45 to test their brand new product Light Daily Lotion.

Light Daily Lotion is said to after just one try of E45 you will see the difference and be hooked. The new range are so light they let you enjoy the indulgence and nourishment of E45 every single day.
E45's knowledge of acute skin care, they developed a daily body lotion range that will rejuvenate and enliven your skin to give it a healthy glow day in and day out. It will leave your skin feeling and looking luminous, no matter if you’re headed to store or out for an extravagant dinner. With four different varieties to choose from, your skin will be thanking you in no time at all for making the switch.

I cannot wait to try this product, my body can swing from two ways, bring very dry or normal. However, my legs are pretty much always dry so it will be good to see how this product measures up.

I will be back soon and report how E45 worked for me.

New to BzzAgent

I am new to BzzAgent but very much looking forward to it. My first two campaings are for E45 Light Daily Lotion and Scholl Express Pedi. As a beauty junkie these are what I am very much looking forward to trying out and telling everyone my thoughts on both products.
